Cinnamon Rolls Recipe - from Lollipop Tree

Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:
  • 1  bag LollipopTree® Organic Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
  • 6  tablespoons unsalted butter, cold
  • ¾  cup  plus 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1  tablespoon  plus 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3  cup  sugar
  • 1½  teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½  cup  powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Empty contents of package into a mixing bowl. Using a pastry cutter or a fork, cut cold butter into mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with a few pea-sized pieces. Add ¾ cup milk. Mix until dough just comes together, about 1 minute. Gather dough into a ball. On a well-floured surface, pat dough into a 6x10-inch rectangle, approximately 1 inch thick. Brush dough with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll dough as a jelly roll forming a 15 inch log. Pinch dough together to seal. Cut into 1 ½ inch slices. Place slices evenly on prepared pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly golden. Cool. Drizzle warm rolls with glaze. Makes 8 to 10 rolls.

Glaze: In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon melted butter and 1 tablespoon milk. Mix until smooth.
